Do Not Consider Using Globat for your Hosting!!! I can not say it clearer than that. If you decide to be a competitor to one of my sites, I still wouldn't recommend Globat to you. If you are my worst enemy, I wouldn't recommend Globat to you. Even though I would get $65 for you signing up to Globat under me, I would not recommend Globat to you!!! As hosts go, they are terrible! Even though they are based in America, the reliability is worse than I could maintain from my PC at home in Thailand. The customer service is simply incompetent. Do Not Use Globat For Your Hosting!

1) The reliability sucks. Literally every week my site goes down. Either the whole site, or the mysql database server does, either way it is so unreliable that I have had downtime each week for the past couple of months. I think it is getting worse, but I could be wrong.

2) The recovery sucks. When there is a problem, their so called 24/7/365 service is a sham. It seems it takes 2-6 hours to fix even the simplest of problems.

3) The customer service sucks. The customer support guys don't know anything. The best they can say is "Our Sys Admins are on to it..." They are never able to give any information or solve any problems. They claim a ticketed problem system, but when you create a ticket, you get a heresponse maybe 50% of the time, and then, the response is always inconclusive. They simply can not solve problems.

Everything about Globat Sucks!

I don't think this is harsh, as I have dealt with Globat for over a year. This site amongst others is currently hosted there. My new mission will be to spread the word, and hope that future webmasters will not use globat for their hosting. Do Not Use Globat for your Hosting!
