So, Following my experiences with the world's worst host - Globat, we have started discussing a refund from my hosting. The email exchange is getting quite humourous, so I thought I'd share it with you all! I have removed the names for neutrality.
The posting of this article was delayed after the database went down AGAIN!
Remember: Never Use Globat For Hosting

There is a huge value to be gained in life and in business, by being unique. If you are the first business to deliver a unique product or service or can do so in an innovative style, then so long as there is a demand for that product, then you have a great early mover advantage to leverage – a “unique” opportunity. Before long others will come along and copy your idea, perhaps doing it better. Hence, the desire to be unique can be counter productive – Uniqueness isn’t necessary, and being unique is overrated.

When starting a web business, it's important to Know Your Customer! If you are going to design a site, you need to know who you are designing it for. OK, we can just build a site that looks neutrally appealing to any potential visitor, but you'll have a bigger impact if you design for a particular customer - plus you'll stay focused more easily.

Do Not Consider Using Globat for your Hosting!!! I can not say it clearer than that. If you decide to be a competitor to one of my sites, I still wouldn't recommend Globat to you. If you are my worst enemy, I wouldn't recommend Globat to you. Even though I would get $65 for you signing up to Globat under me, I would not recommend Globat to you!!! As hosts go, they are terrible! Even though they are based in America, the reliability is worse than I could maintain from my PC at home in Thailand. The customer service is simply incompetent. Do Not Use Globat For Your Hosting!

I see so many adverts for 'Get Rich Quick' schemes, but most are simple scams. While some have managed to get rich quick, the success stories are few and far between. In recent times the phrase has been bandied around the web so often that it has almost become synonymous with 'Web Entrepreneurship'. Simply take a look at the range of 'context sensitive adverts' that are placed automatically on this site!

When I first started dabbling in web design to make some quick cash on the side, I wasn't really intending for it to be anything more than that; a quick job. My initial thoughts were that the farang community is so small here in Chiang Mai that there couldn't possibly be that great of a demand for English web design anyway.

Any web guru would tell you that the first step to optimising your website is to manage your keywords - and when first planning and designing your site, it's key to know what keywords to use, and how to use them effectively. Here, lets investigate some of the tools available to help with keyword optimisation, and discuss strategies for managing keywords. First, what are keywords and why are they important?

Assuming you have some experience with creating websites, the main cost your going to be faced with when starting up an online business is the hosting - after that its just down to the amount of time you want to put into it. (Of course promoting your website might cost you some money through google adwords for example, but with many free SEO techniques around, it may not be necessary). Either way the host is the first payment, and so choosing the right host is crucial. With many cheap hosts to choose from, whats important?

I've heard a rumour that Bar Camp might be coming to Chiang Mai - lets hope so, and hopefully someone will post more info. here!

Well, Valentines Day has just passed, so this post is probably just out of season, but lets take a brief look at an affiliate program available for online flower sales.
